In 2018, the Hong Kong Association of Gerontology will host the 15th World Congress on Long Term Care in Chinese Communities in Hong Kong from 29 November to 1 December 2018.

The Congress theme is “Sustainable and Quality Long Term Care Services”. It integrates all aspects of aged care and long term care in Chinese Communities all over the world. Besides inviting expert keynote and plenary speakers from local and oversea, we also aim at drawing together a diverse range of expert and practitioners in social policy, academics, researchers, healthcare and long term care service providers, to present their recent research and studies in oral presentation and poster presentation, and to share their valuable working experience at symposia with different sub-themes. We can affirm that it will be a very fruitful event for all those interested in long term care.

In addition, pre- and post-Congress field visits covering hospital geriatric services, community care settings, and institutional care facilities in Hong Kong will be arranged.
